Loudoun Forward: A Public Think-Tank

Loudoun Forward is an integrated set of civic tools: a printed publication, this website, e-newsletters, and public forums that deeply examine and explain a range of local issues.

Loudoun Forward will provide the framework for experts, community leaders, and the public to identify and understand the forces that will shape our lives in the months and years to come and shed light on how communities and individuals can make better, long-term public and personal decisions. A public think tank, if you will.

Goals
1. Foster proactive community thinking and decision-making.
2. Broaden the number of voices and perspectives.
3. Provide a deeper understanding of the wide range of issues affecting
quality of life.
4. Improve the community’s deliberative process – and in turn, public
policy.
5. Sponsor and promote forums for public dialogue.
6. Increase public involvement in policy-making.
7. Maintain a non-partisan, un-biased platform for sharing information and
ideas
